Friday, June 29th, 2018

ArtsPark Funtastic Friday and Movie Night, 5:00 – 10:00pm:  Bring the whole family, and some friends, to ArtsPark for music, face painting, bounce houses and games.  And, at 8:00pm you can settle down and watch the movie “Monsters University”.  Bring blankets and chairs for seating.  Information available here.

Family Fun Fridays, 7:00pm – 9:00pm:  Visit Gulf Stream Park on Friday evenings (additional dates available) for lots of fun for the whole family.  There will be music, games and even characters!  Visit their website for details.

Miami Marlins v. NY Mets, 7:10:  This evening game (followed by fireworks) is the first in a three game home series for the Marlins.  Click here for ticket information.

Saturday, June 30th, 2018

Tigertail Lake Water Park, 9:00-5:00:  The Aqua Challenge is open for the summer. Check out this inflatable water obstacle course and playground. Hours vary by day. Visit their website for hours and fees.

Free Family Movie, 10:00am:  Visit River of Grass Arts Park this Saturday to see Coco in the Susan B. Katz Theater.  Movies are shown every Saturday in the summer.  Check out the lineup here.

Watch the Cup, FIFA World Cup Event Series, 10:00am – 11:30pm:  Head over to Wynwood Marketplace for this all day/multi-day soccer festival.  There will be music, games, drinks and LOTS of televised World Cup Soccer.  Visit their website for details including entrance requirements.

American Exhibition and Festival, 4:00pm – 10:00pm: This event is located in Pembroke Pines at the Campus and Hall of the Holy Sacrament.  Come by and celebrate Caribbean Heritage Month.  Admission is $10/adult, kids under 12 are free.  There will be music, food and tons of exhibits.  For more information, visit their website.

Unleashing Love – Hearts, Symbols & Freedom, 6:00pm – 10:00pm:  Visit Art Attack for an evening celebrating art and featuring live painting.  Visit their Facebook page for more details.

FAT Village Art Walk, 6:00pm -10:00pm:  Visit the Flagler Arts Technology district for this fun-filled art evening.  Occurring on the last Saturday of each month, there will be art vendors, entertainment and, of course, food.  Visit their website for additional information.

Dream Classic Car Show, 10:00am – 3:00pm: Visit downtown Hollywood for this always fun, classic car show.  Details are available here.

Boy George & Culture Club and The B-52s with Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey, 6:30pm: What a concert!  Scheduled to be held at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater, this is a great way to kick off a holiday celebration.  Click here for more information.

Poison with Cheap Trick, 7:00pm:  What a day for music.  This amazing concert is scheduled to be held at the Hard Rock Event Center in Hollywood.  Visit this website for ticket information.

4th of July Fireworks in Broward:  Check out our blog for tips on the best places to view the fireworks and celebrate Independence Day!

Florida Supercon, July 12th – 15th:  All anime, comic book, video game and animation fans, save the date for this four day event at the Broward Convention Center. Visit their website for details.

Overtown Music and Arts Festival, July 14th:  Save the date for this day long exciting event.  Taking place in the Overtown Business District in Miami, you can spend the day listening to music, trying delicious ethnic food, browsing the arts & crafts booths and watching your kids enjoy the funzone!  Details available here.

Bugfest by the Sea, July 24th – 29th:  It’s lobster mini season. Participate in this Fort Lauderdale event where you can catch up to 12 lobsters per day.  More information is available on their website.
