Free Third Friday at the Miami Children’s Museum, 4:00pm – 8:00pm: Visit the Miami Children’s Museum for free! This event recurs on the third Friday of the month through January 18th. Take a trip and see all the exhibits the museum has to offer. For more information, click here.
ArtsPark Funtastic Friday and Movie Night 5:00pm – 10:00pm: Bring the whole family, and some friends, to ArtsPark for music, face painting, bounce houses and games. The movie “The Mighty Ducks” will be shown at 8:00pm. Information available here.
Friday Night Sound Waves, 6:00pm – 9:00pm: The intersection of Las Olas Blvd and A1A is the place to be for weekly Friday night concerts. This week come see the B-Side Jones. Visit their website for details on this concert and future ones as well.

Riverwalk Fall Festival, Noon – 4:00pm Head down to Fort Lauderdale’s Riverwalk for the 4th annual fall festival. Free Museum Day, All Day: The Smithsonian Magazine’s free museum day is September 22nd. You can log on to certain museum websites and order two free tickets. Museums from Palm Beach to Miami are participating. Click here for a list and links to order tickets.
Hispanic Heritage Festival, 6:00pm -11:00pm: The City of Miramar is hosting this fabulous evening event. Visit the Miramar Amp, at Miramar Regional Park for some free music. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Additional information is available here.
Solar Blast Concert, Let it Be: Beatles Tribute, 8:00pm – 9:30pm: Head back to ArtsPark for this fun, free concert. What a perfect way to relax on a Saturday evening. Make sure to bring chairs and blankets. For more information, click here.

Florida Teal 5K Run/Fun Walk, 6:30am – 12:30pm: This event, which supports the Kindah Foundation (an organization which is looking to eradicate ovarian and gynecological cancers, is perfect for the entire family. Tamarac Farmers Market, 9:00am – 2:00pm: Veterans’ Memorial Park is the site of this fabulous farmers market which occurs every Sunday in the fall. Stop by and pick up some delicious treats! Click here for the City’s calendar.
Groove and Green, 9:00am – 1:00pm: Stop by the intersection of 441 and Margate Boulevard for the musical marketplace event. You can bring home delicious treats, or eat as you stroll. This event recurs on the second and fourth Sundays of each month. Check out their flyer!
Miami Dolphins v. Oakland Raiders, 1:00pm: We love football season. This weekend ourDolphins are home. Consider a trip to the park to cheer them on. Ticket information is available here.
