Friday, November 2nd, 2018

ArtsPark Funtastic Friday and Movie Night  5:00pm – 10:00pm:  Bring the whole family, and some friends, to ArtsPark for music, face painting, bounce houses and games. The movie “Queen of Katwe” will be shown at 8:00pm.  Information available here.

First Friday Food Trucks, 5:00pm – 9:00pm: Visit the parking lot at Flamingo Gardens for the fabulous way to kick off your weekend. Bring the family and let everyone choose their own dinner from the delicious food trucks and eat while enjoying some great music. Click here for details.

Old Town Untapped, 6:00pm – 9:00pm: Head out to Pompano Beach for this monthly recurring evening event. Bailey Contemporary Arts is the place to be for this craft beer and arts festival. There is food, music, art and more. Visit their website for more information.

Friday Night Sound Waves, 6:00pm – 9:00pm: The intersection of Las Olas Blvd and A1A is the place to be for weekly Friday night concerts. This week come see Mr. Nice Guy. Visit their website for details on this concert and future ones as well.

Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, 8:00pm: This tribute band concert is an amazing way to kick off your weekend.  Come see them at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater.  Click here for ticket information.

Day of the Dead 5K Run & Taco, Tequila and Beer Fest, 2018, 10:30am – 7:00pm: This day long celebration has something for everyone. From a 5K run for adults and kids to a Taco and Tequila festival, with everything in between.  Dress up and bring your family friends.  Click here for more details.

Farmer’s Market at the Shops at Pembroke Gardens (in Pembroke Pines), 10:30am – 7:00pm:Come by for a day of yummy shopping! This is the perfect place to grab your fresh fruits and veggies and a whole lot more. Check out their flyer.

Movies in the Park, 8:00pm – 10:00pm: Visit the Regional Park for a screening of the animated movie “Coco”.  Remember your chairs and coolers, this is a great Saturday evening family event.  Details available here.

Tamarac Farmers Market, 9:00am – 2:00pm:  Veterans’ Memorial Park is the site of this fabulous farmers market which occurs every Sunday in the fall. Stop by and pick up some delicious treats!  Click here for the City’s calendar.

Parkland Farmers Market, 9:00am – 1:00pm:  Stop by the opening weekend of this fabulous market in the heart of Parkland.  There is fresh produce, baked goods and so much more.  Don’t leave without a box of the hot donuts!!  Details are available here.

Dream Classic Car Show, 10:00am – 3:00pm:  This event, which recurs the first Sunday of each month, is a local favorite.  Located on Hollywood Boulevard, between 10th and 20th Avenues, stop by and see some amazing classic cars.  Visit their website  for details.

Be Kind to Animals, 11:00am: Visit the Sawgrass Nature and Wildlife Hospital for this weekly program where guests are introduced to a new animal ambassador.  Click here for more information.

Live Music, Gulf Stream Park, 7:00pm – 9:00pm:  This outdoor shopping area presents live music several nights a week.  Check out their website for who is playing! This is a great way to wind down the weekend.
