Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show, 4:00pm – 9:30pm: Stop by this show for some excellent decorating tips at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center.  This event, which began yesterday, runs throughout the holiday weekend.  Click here for hours of operation and ticket information.

ArtsPark Funtastic Friday and Movie Night  5:00pm – 10:00pm:  Bring the whole family, and some friends, to ArtsPark for music, face painting, bounce houses and games. The movie “Mulan” will be shown at 8:00pm.  Information available here.

Friday Night Sound Waves, 6:00pm – 9:00pm:  Enjoy this free concert at the intersection of Las Olas Boulevard and AIA.  This event, which recurs every Fridayevening, features a different performer each time.  Click here for more details.

Flamingo Gardens Borowski Glass Exhibition Closing Weekend, 9:30am – 4:00pm: If you haven’t been yet, make sure you plan a trip to the always fun Flamingo Gardens this weekend, as it is the closing of the spectacular Borowski Glass Exhibit.  In addition to the fabulous glass there will be a host of special activities.  Click here for more information.

La Cage a Folles, 2:00pm The Stage Door Theatre in Lauderhill is home to this fun and fabulous musical.  Click here for ticket information as well as details on additional showings throughout the weekend.

Bites-n-Sips, September 1st, 6:00pm – 10:00pm: Stop by downtown Coral Springs for food trucks, beer and lots of fun!  Don’t forget a blanket and chairs.  What a great way to spend a Saturday night! Visit their Facebook page for more information.

Dream Classic Car Show, 10:00am – 3:00pm:  This event, which recurs the first Sunday of each month, is a local favorite.  Located on Hollywood Boulevard between 19th and 20th Avenues, stop by and see some amazing classic cars.  Visit their website for more details.

Florida Marlins v. Toronto Blue Jays, 7:00:  Visit Marlins stadium for the second game in this five game home stand.  The first two are against the Blue Jays, and then Phillies come to town!   Click here for additional information on times and associated activities.

Live Music, Gulf Stream Park, 7:00pm – 9:00pm:  This outdoor shopping area presents live music several nights a week.  Check out their website for who is playing! This is a great way to wind down the weekend.

Labor Day Beach Yoga, 9:00am – 10:00am:  Visit Fort Lauderdale Beach for an excellent start to your day.  This class is open to individuals at all levels. For more information, visit Facebook.

Mas Stripez, 10:00am – 4:00pm:  Zoo Miami is hosting it’s 6th annual event to promote awareness of tiger conservation.  Visit the tiger exhibit for special activities.  For more information, click here.

Trivia, 1:00pm – 3:00pm:  Festival Marketplace is hosting it’s weekly Trivia event.  The contest is held in the Food Court; come by and play.  You can win gift certificates and even do some shopping.  Visit their website for additional information.
