ArtsPark Funtastic Friday and Movie Night 5:00pm – 10:00pm: Bring the whole family, and some friends, to ArtsPark for music, face painting, bounce houses and games. The movie “Nine Lives” will be shown at 8:00pm. Information available here.
Friday Night Sound Waves, 6:00pm – 9:00pm: Enjoy this free concert at the intersection of Las Olas Boulevard and AIA. This event, which recurs every Fridayevening, features a different performer each time. Click here for more details.
Jaws in the Park, 8:30pm: BG Oleta River Outdoor Center is the site for this classic film. You can watch the movie on land or in the water. Admission of $20 (children under age 10 are $15). Furry Friend Meet and Greet, 11:00am – 1:00pm: Visit Cooper City’s newest dog park. Meet new friends and neighbors, both the human and furry kind! There will be music, a photo booth and even a K-9 demonstration. Click here for details.
Poverello Pet Pageant, Noon – 5:00: Visit Mickel Park in Wilton Manors for this fabulous pet pageant. Relax among lots of adorable pets and see if you can pick the winner to best smile and best owner look-a-like. More information is available here.
A Midsummer Night’s Art Show, Noon – 5:00pm: Visit Lauderdale Comics for a spotlight on some local artists. There will be sales and discounts all day long. For details, visit their Facebook page.
Far Out Glow Black Light Paint Party, 6:00 pm – 9:00pm: It is art walk in the Flagler Village arts district. Check out the artwork and, when night falls, there will be music and free style glow painting under black lights. For details, click here.
Borowski at Night, 8:00pm – 10:00pm: Visit Flamingo Gardens at night and view this beautiful glasswork, all which will be illuminated. Details available here.
Purple Reign Tribute Show, 8:00pm: The Hard Rock Events Center is the site of this fabulous tribute concert. Details available on their website.

Marine Market, 9am – 4:00pm: Visit the Festival Flea Market on Sample Road for this nautical event. In the parking lot behind the marketplace you can sell your boat, shop for marine-related items and even enter a fishing derby.
The event is also occurring on Saturday from 9:00am – 6:00pm. More information is available here.
Florida Marlins v. Atlanta Braves, 1:10: Visit Marlins stadium for the final game in this four game series. Click here for additional information on promotions all weekend.
Live Music, Gulf Stream Park, 7:00pm – 9:00pm: This outdoor shopping area presents live music several nights a week. Check out their website for who is playing! This is a great way to wind down the weekend.
