Friday, June 15th, 2018

Miami Seaquarium/Free admission and Animal Encounters for Dads, 10:00am – 6:00pm:  Join the Miami Seaquarium in celebrating Dads as they offer free admission and free animal encounters (with the purchase of one paid participant).  This special runs through June 17th!  What a great time to visit.  For more information, click here.

Taste of the Yard- rtful, 5:00pm – 8:00pm Everyone loves food trucks!  Imagine how great it would be to not have to choose which truck’s food to eat. This evening (and on June 22nd and 29th) visit Wynwood  Yard where, for $25, you can try food from ALL the trucks.  Click here for more information.

ArtsPark Funtastic Friday and Movie Night, 5:00 – 10:00pm:  Bring the whole family, and some friends, to ArtsPark for music, face painting, bounce houses and games.  And, at 8:00pm you can settle down and watch the movie “Father of the Bride 2”.  Bring blankets and chairs for seating.  Information available here.

Pompano Pier Food Truck Roundup, 6:00pm – 10:00pm:  Visit the Pier at Pompano Beach for this fun family evening.  Dine from area food trucks and listen to live music.  More details available here.

Rock of Ages, 7:30pm:  This fabulous musical is being performed at The Broward Center.  Ticket information is available on their website.  If you can’t make it tonight, don’t worry; the show is playing through July 1st.  Click here for details.

Saturday, June 16th, 2018

Seminole Discovery Days, 9:00am – 5:00pm:  Visit the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum and learn from Seminole artists and participate in hands-on activities.  Details available here. 

Quarterly Ropes Course, 11:00am – 4:00pm:  Visit Broward College Tigertail Lake in Dania Beach and take advantage of this fun and challenging ropes course.  Broward College Students are free, others pay a fee from $10-$15. Visit their Facebook page for more information.

Fishing Derby with YEA and the City of Plantation, 5:00pm-7:00pm:  Visit Plantation Central Park and bring your own equipment and bait to participate in this fun fishing derby.  Children under 12 must be accompanies by an adult.  Details available on their Facebook page.  Registration is required, but the event is free to the public!

ArtWalk and Mural Tour, 5:00pm – 10:00pm:  Visit downtown Hollywood, tour the galleries and murals, and check out some amazing restaurants.  This event is recurring and is a perfect way to spend a Saturday evening. Details are available here.

Dive in Movie Night at the Pool,  6:00pm – 9:00pm:  Bring your friends and family to the Rock Creek Pool and Tennis Center and view “The Little Rascals” from inside the swimming pool!  Check out their Facebook page  for details.  The pool capacity is limited, so consider preregistering!

Featured Creatures @ Flamingo Gardens, 9:30am – 4:00pm: Visit Flamingo Gardens in Davie for this Father’s Day special event (you can see it on Saturday as well).  The Barowski Glass  Studio will be featuring its Fables and Fairytales exhibit.  Take this chance to view mythical creatures. There will also be contests, crafts and live animal demonstrations.  This is a great way for the family to celebrate Father’s Day.  Details are available on their website.

Father’s Day Brunch, Marando Farms & Ranch, 10:00am- 2:00pm: Enjoy brunch in the barn and celebrate your dad at this ranch in Davie! There will be a buffet and a hand rolled cigar bar.  Details available here.

Maroon 5, 7:30pm:  Reserve your tickets now for this fabulous group.  The concert is sure to be amazing.  Ticket information available on the BB&T website.
