ArtsPark Funtastic Friday and Movie Night 5:00pm – 10:00pm: Bring the whole family, and some friends, to ArtsPark for music, face painting, bounce houses and games. The movie “Sing” will be shown at 8:00pm. Information available here.

Carousel Carnival, 6:00pm – 8:00pm: Celebrate the 5th birthday of the Pompano Carousel at this family carnival at the Citi Centre. There will be free games, face painting, rides, music, shows and more. Click here for more information.

Music Under the Starts, 7:00pm – 9:00pm: The second Friday of each month is concert time in Pompano. Visit the Great Lawn and see B Side Jones this month. Bring your blankets and chairs. Details available here.
Friday Night Sound Waves, 6:00pm – 9:00pm: The intersection of Las Olas Blvd and A1A is the place to be for weekly Friday night concerts. This week come see the Tito C. Band. Visit their website for details on this concert and future ones as well.

We Are Here, Seminole Discovery Days, Ah-Ta-Thi-Ki Museum, 9:00am – 5:00pm: Enjoy this special exhibit and discover what happens behind the scenes of Tribal Government. There will be crafts and root beer floats! Program is included in the price of admission. More information is available here.
Seven Dollar Saturdays at Flamingo Gardens, 9:30am – 4:00pm: September is special at Flamingo Gardens. Admission is $7.00 for adults and children ages 3 and up. Take advantage of this amazing deal. Click here for more information.
Thrive Performing Arts Center Open House, Noon – 2:00pm: Make it a point to stop by the Thrive Performing Arts Center in Pembroke Pines and learn what they have to offer. There will be face painting, tattoos and raffles. Check out their Facebook page for more information.
Lost 80’s Live, 7:30pm: Get your tickets to this oldies but goodies concert at the Parker Playhouse. Flock of Seagulls and Wang Chung, among other artists, will be there. Click here for more information and tickets.
Sammy Hagar and The Circle, 8:00pm: The Hard Rock Hollywood is the site of this fantastic concert. Visit their website to learn more about the former head of Van Halen and this performance.

Tamarac Farmers Market, 9:00am – 2:00pm: Veterans’ Memorial Park is the site of this fabulous farmers market which occurs every Sunday in the fall. Stop by and pick up some delicious treats! Click here for the City’s calendar.
Stand Up Paddleboarding, 9:00am – 11:00am: Have no plans? This amazing experience is worth the drive to Boca. Visit Gumbo Limbo Park for this paddle board trip along the intercostal. You will see manatees, turtles and more. Looking for additional information, visit their website.
Model Train Rides, 10:00am – 4:00pm: Take a trip to Tradewinds Park for a ride on the model trains! Each ride is $1.50 per passenger; guests must pay admission into the park. Monkey Joe’s Pembroke Pines Birthday, 11:00am – 7:00pm: Help celebrate at the Pembroke Pines location (Sunrise is also celebrating). There will be $5 admission all day along with a dance party and activities. Click here for more details.
BMX Trickstars, 11:00am – 4:00pm: Visit the Festival Marketplace for this amazing event. There will be vendors set up throughout the day, and three shows that are free to the public at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm. This is a unique opportunity to view this cool sport up close. Live Music, Gulf Stream Park, 7:00pm – 9:00pm: This outdoor shopping area presents live music several nights a week. Check out their website for who is playing! This is a great way to wind down the weekend.

Riverwalk Fall Festival, September 22nd: Head down to Fort Lauderdale’s Riverwalk for the 4th annual fall festival.
