Food in Motion at Peter Fedlman Park, 5-11:00pm: This fun family event recurs on the second Friday of every month. This is great place to do some shopping and grab dinner with your family. Stop by and visit the food trucks, listen to live music and shop at the green market. Details available on their website.
Sounds of the Town – Davie, 6-10:00pm: Visit the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds (where parking and admission are free). Event includes live bands, food trucks, kids activities and a petting farm. Additional information is available here.
Decades Rewind at the Parker Playhouse, 8:00pm: This fabulous musical show promises to take you back in time! This fun show features music from the 60’s to the 80’s. Visit their website for complete details.
South Florida Fair, West Palm Beach. While it may be a bit of a drive for those of us in Broward, this annual family favorite runs from January 12th-January 28th at the South Florida Fairgrounds and may be worth the trip. Visit with the whole family for amusements, livestock shows, auctions and lots of fun carnival food. Details on hours and admission fees are located here. (PS, Publix is selling discount tickets!)
Miramar MLK Day Celebration, 11:00am – 4:00pm: The day begins with a parade around Sherman Circles. More fun can be had following the parade at Lake Shore Park. There will be speakers, vendors, dancing and activities for children. For more details, visit the city’s website.

Chalk-lit Festival 2018, 10:00am – 5:00pm): Visit the Broward County Library on Andrews Avenue for the County’s first chalk art festival. You can watch 2D and 3D artists create chalk murals. Visit their website for more details.
Stone Crab & Seafood Festival, 11:00am-5:00pm: Esplanade Park at Riverwalk is the home to this 7th annual “feast”. Visit for great food, drinks and even hermit crab races! Details available here.
