Walk for the Animals, 8:00am – Noon: Participate in this event and help raise money for the Broward Humane Society. It’s going to be a beautiful weekend for a 1.25 mile walk around downtown Fort Lauderdale. Learn more by visiting their website.
Waterway Cleanup, 9:00am – 1:00pm: This Broward County volunteer event provides the opportunity to give back to our community. There are five locations in Hollywood where you can help; students can even earn service hours! Visit their website to learn more.
30th Annual Las Olas Arts Fair, Part II, 10:00am – 5:00pm: This two day event (it continues on Sunday) is a South Florida favorite. With no admission cost, it’s a great way to spend a beautiful weekend afternoon. Click here for more details.

Beach Volleyball Major Series, 11:00am: Guess what, it’s time for the finals! This exciting event (there are matches and associated events all weekend) concludes with the medal matches.
