Make a Wish: Walk for Wishes 5K Walk/Run, 7:30 – 11:00am: Register for this event, which takes place at Markham Park; help grant wishes for critically ill children in our community. Visit the Walk for Wishes website for details.
Woofstock, 10:00am to 2:00pm: Annually the City of Sunrise hosts this celebration of dogs and dog lovers at Sawgrass Sanctuary Park. Admission is free for your and your dog. Enjoy activities and vendors. Rescue organizations will be on hand for adoptions and questions. Visit the City of Sunrise website for additional information.
Florida Panthers v. Detroit Red Wings, 7:00pm: Spend the evening cheering on our hometown Panthers! The game is at the BB&T center and promises to be exciting. Visit their website for more details.
Weston Nights Outdoor Concert Series with the Big Rock Band, 7:00 – 10:00pm: Bring your lawn chairs and blankets to Weston Regional Park for an evening of classic rock. A food truck will be available (or you can bring you own). This is the perfect opportunity to hang out and relax with the whole family. More details here.
Black History Celebration Concert, 6:00 – 9:00pm: This free concert, hosted by the City of Miramar, will take place at the Miramar Cultural Center. Details on performers as well as a link for your free ticket can be found here.

Dream Car Classic, 10:00am – 3:00pm Located in Hollywood at the 1900 block of Hollywood Boulevard, this car show features classic cars and trucks. Bring your kids; they will love all the cool cars and there will even be a facepaint and glitter tattoos. Looking for more info? Click here!
The Big Game at Xtreme: 4:00pm Celebrate Superbowl Sunday at Xtreme Action Park. They have over 50 LED TVs and 6 projection screens; you won’t miss a play. Throw in a bunch of food and drink specials and it sounds like a great place to hang. Check out their website for more info!

The Fort Lauderdale Greek Festival, February 8-11: Visit St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church for this fabulous food and fun festival. There will be carnival rides, children’s activities and Greek dancing. Visit their website for more information.
Annual Butterfly Festival, February 24: This family event includes music, games and rides, fireworks and vendors. It will be held at Sabal Pines Park and the city will run a free shuttle bus from Monarch High School. Visit the City of Coconut Creek’s website for details.
