Benefit Concert for Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, 6:00pm: Revolution Live is hosting a benefit concert featuring multiple musical acts/bands. 100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the victims and their families. Click here for details.
Rocket Man, An Elton John Tribute, 7:30pm: What could be more fun than an evening of Elton John music, complete with costumes? If you agree with us, not much. This event will be held at the Broward Center and details regarding tickets and the show are available on their website.
Orange Blossom Festival Concert, 6:00pm: This concern kicks off a weekend full of fun and events. The Orange Blossom Festival is historically one of the most famous events in Davie; it’s looked forward to each year. Women of Distress of Broward County SafeWalk/Run 5K, 9:00am: Support Women in Distress and help raise awareness about domestic violence. Registration begins at 7:30 and event takes place in NOVA in Davie. Details, including fees, are available here.
Outrun Hunger 5K, 7:30am: Join Feeding South Florida for their 8th annual Outrun Hunger 5K. Presented by JM Family Enterprises, this event will take place on the Hollywood Broadwalk. Visit their website for details.
Polynesian Cultural Festival, Noon- 7:00pm: Jacos Pastorius Park is the site of this wonderful cultural festival featuring music, dancing, food, drinks and kids activities. This event continues on Sunday! Visit their website for more information.

Anniversary Entry to Butterfly World, 11:00am – 5:00pm In celebration of their anniversary, Butterfly World is offering $10 admission (patrons must also pay to enter Tradewinds Park) This discount is available on Saturday as well (hours are different) and will also be offered next weekend. The Olate Dogs, 11:00am : The dogs, who appeared on America’s Got Talent, will be at the Broward Center. They jump rope and dance and will definitely bring a smile to your face. Click here for information regarding tickets.

Beach Volleyball Major Series: The International Volleyball Federation has a world tour, and Fort Lauderdale is the site of their first event this year. Running from February 27th to March 4th, stop by Fort Lauderdale Beach Park and watch the amazing sport.
