First Friday Food Trucks, 5:00-9:00pm: It’s that time again, First Friday Food Trucks at Flamingo Gardens. Drive on over and enjoy a variety of food and music in a relaxed setting. What a great way to spend a Friday night with family and friends. Click here for more information.
Sun Fest, 6:00pm: This four day (it began yesterday) annual music festival hosts over 50 bands in downtown West Palm Beach. The entire weekend is filled with sun, music and dancing. Click here for details and ticket information. Make sure you check the schedule; times differ on Saturday and Sunday.
Movies in the Park, 7:00pm: Stop by Tamarac Sports Park for family fun events and the movie “Sing”. Bring a blanket and chairs and plan to have a great time. Details are available on their website.

March for Babies, 7:00am: Participate in this annual fundraiser sponsored by the March of Dimes. The three mile walk at NOVA Southeastern will include food and entertainment and even exercise. There will be something for everyone as you support this amazing cause!. Visit their website for additional information.
Run for the Angels 5K, 7:30am: This year is the 4th anniversary of this event, at Sheltair in Pompano. The run, which supports Angel Flight Southeast (an organization that provides free transportation to people who need lifesaving medical treatment), takes place in and around the Pompano Beach Air Park. The Inflatable Run, 8;00am – 4:00pm: Take a trip to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami for the family friendly inflatable fun run! There will be a kid friendly 1 mile fun run and a 5K obstacle course in addition to music and food trucks. Buy your tickets here!
Fort Lauderdale Air Show, 9:00am: This event, which continues on Sunday, is a perennial crowd favorite. There will be displays and the always exciting air show. Visit their website for details and ticket information.
Summer Outdoor Adventure, 9:00am – 5:00pm: Visit Everglades Holiday Park off of Griffin Road in Fort Lauderdale for a day of fun in the sun. You can get your fishing license, ride on an airboat, see an alligator show and so much more. Click here for more details and additional dates!

Wings for Life World Run, 7:00am: The BB&T Center is Sunrise is where the start of this fundraising run is located. 100% of the registration fees will be donated to spinal cord research. Click here for information.
Walk the Talk for Epilepsy, 8:00am: Hosted by The Epilepsy Foundation of Florida, this walk will take place in Hollywood along the Broadwalk. With events for everyone in the family including music, a zumba warm-up and even a visit from Stanley C. Panther, the morning promises fun while donating to a worthwhile cause. Broward County Plant Affair, 9:00am – 4:00pm: Hosted by the Plantation Historical Society, this event (held twice yearly) brings local nurseries together with the public. There will be over 20 vendors! Check out their webpage for additional information; and note, this event is taking place on Saturday as well.
Dream Car Classic, 10:00am – 3:00pm: This free family event features classic cars, modern classic cars and event custom cars. There is a fee to exhibit your car. Click herefor more information.

Miami New Times and Zoo Miami Brew at the Zoo, May 12th: Visit Zoo Miami where you can taste 100 different types of beer from around the world, eat some delicious food and listen to Flock of Seagulls. More information regarding admission available here.
