Flower Festival, 9:00am – 5:00pm: This holiday weekend long event (hours differ on Sunday) at Butterfly World features flowers for sale, kids crafts and activities and even floral ranging instruction. Visit their website for information including hours and admission.
ArtsPark Funtastic Friday and Movie Night, 5:00 – 10:00pm: Bring the whole family, and some friends, to ArtsPark for music, face painting, bounce houses and games. And, at 8:00pm you can settle down and watch the movie “The Lion King”. Bring blankets and chairs for seating. Information available here.
Snooza-pa-Zoo-za, 7:00pm-8:300am: It’s a long weekend for our kids in Broward, and this is a great way for the family to kick off the holiday weekend. It’s a family sleepover at the zoo! There will be a tour, animal encounters, activities and so much more. Visit their website for additional information including reservations!

Fishing Clinic for Kids, 9:00am – 11:0am: Make sure you register for this free Saturday morning event in Margate! Open to kids under 12, the morning includes fishing instruction and participation. Parent must also attend. Registration and details available here.
Memorial Day Kidz Fest at Flamingo Gardens, 9:30am -4:30pm Visit Flamingo Gardens for weekend of kids activities as well as the beautiful Barowski Glass Art Exhibit: Fables and Fairytails. This event continues on Saturday and Sunday. Details available here.
Great American Beach Party, 10:00am – 8:30pm: This day long festival features music, kids activities, a sand castle contest and more. Come to A1A and Las Olas Boulevard and be right the center of a day of fun. Details available here.
Reading Rocks! Family Reading Festival, 10:00am – 2:00pm: Visit Quiet Waters Park for the family event that focuses on reading! There will be a book exchange, arts & crafts, face painting and more! Check out their website to confirm details.
Bark Walk, 5:00pm – 8:00pm: Presented by Girls Club Collection, this block wide art program is open to your furry friends and will benefit Pets Broward! Visit the northern edge of NE 2nd Avenue in Flagler Village for dog themed art, art activities and even a photo shoot. Details are available here.
Dive In Movie, The Wild Life, 7:15pm: Visit Calypso Cove Water Park in Margate and enjoy this family movie while in the pool! Snacks available for purchase, Details are available on their website.

National Salute to America’s Heroes, 10:00am – 10:00pm: This tribute (which begins on Saturday) features an air show, live music and tons of activities on Miami Beach. Visit their website for details.
21st Annual Downtown Delray Beach Craft Festival: 10:00am – 5:00pm: This event (which also is running on Saturday) is located at 201 West Atlantic Avenue. There will be arts, crafts and a green market. This is a fabulous way to spend a day this holiday weekend. Details are available here.
