Friday, March 9th, 2018
Tunes ‘N Trucks Concert, Switch Back to the Eighties, 7:00pm: Music begins at 7:00, but food trucks arrive at 6:00 for the fun outdoor event at the Sunrise Civic Amphitheater. MSD Strong Tribute Concert, 7:30pm-9:30pm: Held at the Township for Performing Arts theater, in Coconut Creek, this tribute concert features alumni and students of Broadway Bound, a well-know performing arts program in Coral Springs. 100 percent of the proceeds will support the students and staff of MSD, including a scholarship fund. Family Fun Friday, 7:00pm – 9:00pm: Visit Champions Plaza at Gulf Stream Park for this fun family event (which recurs on Fridays). This week you can visit with Coco & Pepita and participate in lots of fun and games. Click here for details.

Founders Day, 7:30am: Come celebrate Cooper City’s 59th Birthday. The day begins with a 5K and 1 mile Relay for Life Color Run. During the day there will be a car show, activities, arts & crafts, food booths and more! The event concludes with fabulous fireworks. Visit their website for details.
Water Matters Day, 9:00am – 3:00pm: Visit Tree Tops Park in Davie for this fun and educational family event. There will be children’s entertainment, workshops and giveways. Learn about home gardening, plants some flowers and even get your face painted. Details are available here!
Fort Lauderdale Saint Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival, 9:00am – 1:00pm: Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a parade, music, food and more. This event will provide fun for the whole family. More details including ticket prices here.
Our Town America, 10:00am – 11:00pm: This three day extravaganza takes place at the Coral Springs Sportsplex and will feature amusement rides, music and even an auto show. Details regarding the weekend (Friday – Sunday) are available here.
One Tamarac Multicultural Festival, 3:00pm – 9:00pm: Located at the Tamarac Sports Complex, this event features music, arts, children’s activities and fireworks. Visit their website for more information.
Florida Panthers v. NY Rangers, 7:00pm: In the mood for some exciting Hockey? The hometown Panthers are hosting the New York Rangers. Click here for information on ticketing.
Impractical Jokers starring the Tenderloins, 8:00pm: Spend the evening at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and enjoy a night of laughs. The Tenderloins are well-known for their TV show Impractical Jokers. More details available on the website.

Artfest in the Pines, 10:00am-5:00pm: Visit the Charles F. Dodge City Center for the 20th anniversary of this special event. This two day celebration (it’s open on Saturday the 10th as well) is free to the public. Stop by and view some beautiful art, eat some delicious food and have lots of fun. Hollywood St. Patrick’s Day Parade, 1:00pm – This festive parade and festival is held on Hollywood Boulevard. The parade begins at 1:00 and the festival (which includes Irish music, food and drinks) runs from noon until 6:00. Visit their website for additional information.
The Drowsy Chaperone, 6:00pm : Presented by Broadway Kids Studio, this fan favorite is playing at the Miniaci Performing Arts Center. Additional information including ticket sales here.
