First Friday Food Trucks, 5:00pm – 9:00pm: Visit the parking lot at Flamingo Gardens in Davie for this fun Friday event. Dinner (more than 10 food trucks) and music make for a fun evening for all. Parking and admission to the food truck area are free. Details are available here.
ArtsPark Funtastic Friday and Movie Night, 5:00 – 10:00pm: Bring the whole family, and some friends, to ArtsPark for music, face painting, bounce houses and games. And, at 8:00pm you can settle down and watch the movie “The Emoji Movie”. Bring blankets and chairs for seating. Information available here.
Shania Twain, 7:30pm: The BB&T center is proud to present a concert by country superstar Shania Twain, featuring songs from her new album, NOW. Ticket information is available here.
Our Reply – Presented by the MSD Band and Guard, 7:30pm – 9:30pm: Come by Church by the Glades in Coral Springs for this inspirational concert. The wind symphony will perform and there will be guest musicians and conductors. See their Facebook page for details on the program and admission. Profits will go to the MSD Band, the Alex Schachter Scholarship Fund and the Gina Montalto Memorial Foundation.

Take A Kid Fishing Rodeo, 8:00am – 10:00am: Visit the Davie Golf and Country Club (registration begins at 7:00am) for a fun morning of fishing for children ages 5-12. Prizes will be given. Visit their website for registration information (there is a fee).
Pompano Beach Fitness Race, 8:00am: Start your Saturday with a little exercise, and benefit the Special Olympics at the same time! This challenging beach obstacle course can be run solo or with a team. There will be food, music, vendors and giveaways. Details available here.
Jupiter Donuts Grand Opening, 9:00am – 1:00pm: Stop by the new Oakland Park location and pick up some delicious donuts. While you’re there, check out the classic cars, join in the donut eating contest, get your face painted and have a great morning! More information is on their website.
World Famous “Venice of America” Stand-up Paddle Board Tour, 10:00am: Travel the Intercoastal by paddle board and see all the sites “close up”. Visit their website for details on the tour and associated fees.
Wear Orange – Healing Through Harmony, 10:00am: Visit Pine Trails Park and wear orange. This youth concert will honor the survivors and those lost to gun violence. Details here.
Dania Ready Hurricane Expo, 11:00am – 2:00pm: It’s that time of year again, Hurricane Season! After last year, we all want to be prepared. Take some time and attend this expo. You can learn a lot and shop for important supplies. Check out their website for more information.
Sounds at Sundown, 6:00pm-9:00pm: The City of Margate is hosting this free musical event. Stop by the corner of Margate Blvd. and State Road 7. Bring your blankets and chairs. There will be live music, food trucks and craft vendors. Details available here.
