Funtastic Friday and ArtsPark Movie Night, 5:00pm -10:00pm: Stop by ArtsPark in Hollywood for this fabulous family evening.  There will be music, facepainters, and even a feature film, Earth – One Amazing Day.  Visit their website for information

Pompano Pier Food Truck Round Up, 6:00-10:00pm:  The Pompano Beach Fishing Pier is home to this fun family night.    Bring your folding chairs and blankets and enjoy dinner from participating food trucks. More information can be found here.

Free Surf, Skim and Stand up Paddle Board Lessons, 7:00-9:00am:  Island Watersports offers free lessons every Saturday morning.  Visit their website to sign up and for additional information.

9th Annual Covenant House 5K on AIA, 7:00am:  Help our homeless youth and get in a bit of exercise at the same time.  Visit their website for details.

Broward Kettle Krush, 5K: 7:00am:  This family event is designed to raise money to “krush” poverty and homelessness.  The event will be held at Markham Park and details are available here.

Earth Day at The Farm, 10:00am – 3:00pm:  Celebrate Earth Day at Marando Farms & Ranch with Broward College’s Environmental Science Team.  Free admission and lots of family activities.  Click here for more information.

Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk, Market and Mural Tour, 5:00 – 10:00pm: Spend the evening strolling through Hollywood and enjoy art, music, food and vendors.  This recurring event is a family favorite.  Details available here.

Movie in the Park, 8:00-10:00pm:  Visit Betty Stradling Park in Coral Springs and see the family friendly film Ferdinand!  No charge for parking or admission.  Don’t forget your chairs and blankets.  More information can be found here.

Party for the Planet, 10:00am – 3:00pm, Visit Zoo Miami for this amazing celebration of Earth Day.  With your regular zoo admission you can participate in a host of conservation-themed activities.  This event is running on Saturday as well.  For details, visit their website.

Garden Festival and Bonsai Show, 9:30am – 4:30pm:  Hosted by the Flamingo Road Nursery and Farmers Market, the 22nd annual Garden Festival and Bonsai Show is an amazing event. Are You My Mother, multiple shows:  See this classic childrens play at the Broward Center.  Ticket information available here.

Healing Hearts Angel Walk, 11:00 registration: This year’s walk, held at Quiet Waters Park, is dedicated to the victims and families of Stoneman Douglas.  Visit their website for details.
