Located in on NW 16th Street in Plantation,  Plantation High School is part of the Broward County Public School System and serves over 2,200 students.  The school offers an IB program, a career and technical program as well as the traditional high school program.  The are proud to be able to meet the needs of their diverse student body.

Schedules

Operating on an A/B Block schedule, students are scheduled for eight classes and attend four on each of the alternating A/B days.  Classes are approximately 90 minutes in length, providing time for instruction as well as supplemental academic activities.

After School Activities

After school activities are equally as diverse and well-respected.  The students, whose mascot is the Colonel, participate in more than 15 clubs and organizations on campus, including a number of active academic honor societies. Finally, the school  is home to several sports  at the varsity and junior varsity levels including basketball, football and lacrosse. The student body is extremely well-rounded and involved.

Feeder Schools

Portions of students from Bair Middle School, Seminole Middle School and Plantation Midle School feed in Plantation High School  The schools work closely for a smooth transition.
