Located in Hallandale Beach, Hallandale Magnet High School is part of the Broward County Public School System and serves approximately 1,400 students.
Schedules
Hallandale is an “all magnet” school offering academies in STEM, Criminal Justice, Health Science, Entrepreneurship, Graphic Design and Television and Broadcasting. The school also offers AP classes dual enrollment and online learning opportunities There is a varied range of electives to complement the core required courses.
After School Activities
After school activities are diverse and well-respected. The students, whose mascot is the Charger, participate in activities including, but not limited to band, drama and student council. Athletics are also important to the school and student-athletes compete in nine sports on the varsity and junior varsity levels.
Feeder Schools
Portions of the student bodies attending Apollo Middle, Gulfstream Academy Middle, McNicol Middle, Olsen Middle feed into Hallandale. Others in the district apply to specific programs. The schools work closely together to ensure a smooth transition including academics and activities.
