Located in Coral Springs, Florida, Coral Springs High School serves over 2,900 students.  The School, designated a “Best High School – Silver” by U.S. News & World Report, is staffed by dedicated and skilled professionals committed to helping their students success.

Schedules

Operating on an A/B block schedule,  students enroll in eight classes, seven academic and one “study hall”.  On A days, periods 1-4 meet for approximately 90 minutes.  On B days students visit periods 5-8.

Academic Programs

The school offers a broad range of classes and programs.  In fact, Coral Springs offers more on-campus dual enrollment classes than any other school in the county.  Additionally, students can take AP classes in many subjects and can obtain industry certification in over 20 areas.

After School Activities

After school activities are varied and plentiful.  Over 25 clubs and academic  honor societies are on campus including band, DECA, drama and National Honor Society.  More information on the clubs can be found here.  Additionally, student-athletes have the opportunity to participate in various sports on both varsity and junior varsity levels.  In fact, Coral Springs High School has teams that compete in over 15 sports.  Many have experienced considerable success.

Parents are encouraged to become involved in the school through their active PTSO.  Administration values the input of parents and the positive effect they have on their students individually and the school as a whole.

Feeder Schools

Portions of the student bodies of Margate Middle and Forest Glen Middle feed into Coral Springs High School.  Administration and staff from all three schools coordinate to ensure a smooth transition.
