Free Third Friday at the Miami Children’s Museum, 4:00pm – 8:00pm: ¬†Visit the¬†Miami Children’s Museum for free!¬† This event recurs on the third Friday of the month through January 18th.¬† Take a trip and see all the exhibits the museum has to offer.¬† For more information, click¬†here.

ArtsPark Funtastic Friday and Movie Night¬† 5:00pm – 10:00pm:¬†¬†Bring the whole family, and some friends, to ArtsPark for music, face painting, bounce houses and games. The movie “The Mighty Ducks” will be shown at 8:00pm.¬† Information available¬†here.

Friday Night Sound Waves, 6:00pm Р9:00pm: The intersection of Las Olas Blvd and A1A is the place to be for weekly Friday night concerts.  This week come see the B-Side Jones.  Visit their website for details on this concert and future ones as well.

Jerry Seinfeld, 7:00pm:  Order your tickets ASAP to see Jerry Seinfeld at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. His stand-up routine is sure to keep you laughing. Click here for more information.

Riverwalk Fall Festival, Noon – 4:00pm¬†Head down to Fort Lauderdale’s Riverwalk for the 4th annual fall festival.¬† Plan on stopping by Esplanade Park for children’s¬†activities,¬†carnival games, food trucks and shopping.¬† It promises to be a fun day for all, and admission is FREE.¬† Click here for more¬†information.

Free Museum Day, All Day:¬†¬†The Smithsonian Magazine’s free museum day is September 22nd.¬† You can log on to certain museum websites and order two free tickets.¬† Museums from Palm Beach to Miami are participating.¬† Click¬†here¬†for a list and links to order tickets.

Hispanic Heritage Festival, 6:00pm -11:00pm: The City of Miramar is hosting this fabulous evening event.  Visit the Miramar Amp, at Miramar Regional Park for some free music. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.  Additional information is available here.

Solar Blast Concert, Let it Be: Beatles Tribute, 8:00pm Р9:30pm: Head back to ArtsPark for this fun, free concert.  What a perfect way to relax on a Saturday evening.  Make sure to bring chairs and blankets.  For more information, click here.

Game of Thrones, Live Concert, 8:00pm:  The BB&T Center is the site for this fabulous concert.  An orchestra and choir will perform music from all of the seasons.  Click here for ticket details and more information.

Florida Teal 5K Run/Fun Walk, 6:30am – 12:30pm:¬†This event, which supports the Kindah¬†Foundation (an organization which is looking to eradicate ovarian and gynecological cancers, is¬†perfect for the entire family.¬† Get some¬†exercise and support a good cause.¬† Held in Davie, it’s close to home and easy to get to.¬† Visit their¬†website¬†for more information.

Tamarac Farmers Market, 9:00am – 2:00pm:¬†¬†Veterans’ Memorial Park is the site of this fabulous farmers market which occurs every Sunday in the fall. Stop by and pick up some delicious treats!¬† Click¬†here¬†for the City’s calendar.

Groove and Green, 9:00am Р1:00pm:  Stop by the intersection of 441 and Margate Boulevard for the musical marketplace event.  You can bring home delicious treats, or eat as you stroll.  This event recurs on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.  Check out their flyer!

Miami Dolphins v. Oakland Raiders, 1:00pm:  We love football season. This weekend ourDolphins are home.  Consider a trip to the park to cheer them on.  Ticket information is available here.

Live Music, Gulf Stream Park, 7:00pm Р9:00pm:  This outdoor shopping area presents live music several nights a week.  Check out their website for who is playing! This is a great way to wind down the weekend.

Town of Davie Fall Harvest Festival, September 29th.    Visit the Bergeron Rodeo grounds for this family event. There will be a petting farm, hay rides and more!  Details available on their website.

Disney Junior Dance Party on Tour, October 5th: Reserve you tickets now for this family show at the Broward Center.  Details available here.

Oktoberfest, October 5th Р7th: Jaco Pastorus Park is the site of this three day festival.  There will be food, drinks and activities for the entire family.  Admission is $5.00 per person, children under 12 are admitted free.  Visit their website for more details.

Harvest Festival at Flamingo Gardens, October 6th and 7th:  Save the date NOW for this fun, family event at Flamingo Gardens.  There will be a hayride, pumpkin patch and more.  Details are available on their website.

Antiques and Vintage Collectibles Show, October 13th and 14th: Pembroke Pines is the location for this fabulous event.  Click herefor more details.
