Located in Davie, Florida, McFatter High School is a public “whole-school” magnet high school serving over 600 students.  It is part of the Broward County Public School System.  Rated an A School by the State of Florida, McFatter, has a number of awards and accreditations to its name. As a magnet program, students must apply and the school serves students from across the county.  The application window usually runs from early December through early February.

McFatter operates on a 4×4 block schedule, where students earn 32 credits over their four year high school career.   The school offers regular, honors and AP classes, in addition to its focus on technology which increases each year.  The school also has a direct relationship  with McFatter Technical College.

After school activities are well-respected.  The students have the opportunity to participate in over 40 clubs, everything from animation to yearbook.  The students are encouraged to explore new ideas and develop new interests.  . The student body is extremely committed to being successful.
