Located in Coconut Creek, Florida, Atlantic Technical High School is a public magnet high school and part of the Broward County Public School System.  As a magnet program, students must apply and the school serves students from across the county.  The application window usually runs from early December through early February. In order to be considered for admission, FSA scores in reading and math must be at least a level 3 and students must have a GPA of 2.5 in their core classes.

Schedules

Named a National Model School by the International Center for Leadership in Education, Atlantic Technical is well-regarded; it offers over 40 instructional programs. Academic Programs

Classes offered include a mix of traditional high school classes (with honors and AP options).  These are supplemented by technical programs.   Additionally, students are also permitted to participate in the Career Dual Enrollment program at Atlantic Technical College. The school and its unique and innovative programs have a tremendous reputation.

After School Activities

After school activities are well-respected.  The students, whose mascot is  the Tech Tigers, have a strong student government, diverse after school clubs and multiple honor societies. The student body is extremely committed to success.

Feeder Schools

As a magnet program, this school does not have a distinct feeder track and students apply for acceptance through the choice program.
