Weston Winter Safety Expo, 6:00 – 8:30pm This free family event offers a close up look at rescue vehicles, a winter experience and lots of children’s activities. It’s sponsored by the City of Weston and Broward Sheriff’s Office. Take a look at the flyer for more information; the event that will be held at Tequesta Trace Park.
Tunes ‘N Trucks, 6:00pm: Visit the Sunrise Civic Amphitheater for an evening of food trucks and live music. Don’t forget your blankets and chairs; this is the perfect way to wind down from a hectic week. More information is available on the website.

Flamingo Fest, 9:30am – 4:00pm: This annual festival celebrates flamingos with so many fun activities including live entertainment, puppets and a photo exhibit. Don’t forgot about the Fabulous Flamingo Contests where you can vote for your favorite decorated flamingo lawn ornament. Come in costume and win prizes! Pet Event, 9:00am-2:00pm: Visit Hagen Park in Wilton Manors for a $25 rabies shot and free microchip for your dog . This program is for Broward residents only. Please make sure your dog is on a leash.. More information is available on the website.

Be Kind to Animals – All Critters Matter, 11:00am: The Sawgrass Nature Center and Wildlife Hospital in Coral Springs in an amazing place for kids to learn. Each week they introduce their visitors to a featured animal. Visit the Sawgrass Nature Center site for more information on this organization.
