Serving over 2,200 students, Cooper City High School is located on Stirling Road in Cooper City, Florida. Named as a Blue Ribbon School by The Washington Post and one of America’s Best High Schools by Newsweek, this school boasts a 99% graduation rate.

Schedules

Cooper City High is proud of the broad range of classes it offers, including 18 Advanced Placement (offered on campus) and 45 honors courses.  The school also offers the opportunity to Dual Enroll.  An A/B block schedule is in effect.  Students enroll in eight classes, seven academic and one study hall. On A days, periods 1-4 meet for approximately 90 minutes.  On B days students visit periods 5-8.

After School Activities

Extracurricular activities also play a large role at the school.  Students, whose mascot is the Cowboy, participate in 40 clubs and honor societies.  Additionally, athletics are extremely popular.  Over twenty varsity and junior varsity teams compete in a broad range of sports.  The students at the school are recognized for being involved in both school activities and their community.

The School has an active PTSA, which even hosts their own Facebook page, as well as SAF and SAC committees. Parents are invested in the success of the school and their children.

Feeder Schools

Pioneer Middle School is the direct feed for this high school. The schools are located in the same city;  the transition from middle to high school has been smooth.
